Costs
The costs page shows an overview of the energy costs and savings at the location for the selected time period.
Note
To display costs, the energy contract for the location must be entered first.
🗓️ Time period
At the top of the page you select the time period:
- Day: Costs per selected day.
- Week: Costs per selected week.
- Month: Costs per selected month.
- Year: Costs per selected year.
Use the arrows to navigate to the previous or next period. Use the refresh button to reload the data.
💰 Summary
At the top you see four key figures for the entire selected period:
- Total consumption: The total energy consumption in kWh.
- Total costs: The total net energy costs in euros. A negative value means more energy was exported than consumed.
- You saved: The amount saved compared to if all energy had been purchased from the grid.
- Realized price: The average realized price per kWh, accounting for energy export.
📊 Costs and savings in detail
The chart shows costs and savings per time unit within the selected period. Click on a bar in the chart to view the breakdown for that moment.
Below the chart you see the cost breakdown:
- Consumption costs: The total costs of the energy consumed.
- Self-consumption: The amount of self-generated solar energy used directly instead of purchased from the grid. The costs for this are always €0.00.
- Imported from grid: The costs of energy purchased from the grid.
- Exported to grid: The revenue from energy exported back to the grid.

The costs and savings shown are a simplified indication. Actual costs may differ.
