Connect Navigator to location

Now we will connect the installed Navigator to a location in the Currentt App.

🏡 Creating a location

To create a new location, follow these steps with your installer account:

  • Click ➕ Add location in the main menu
  • Enter the postal code and house number of the location
  • Select the correct address from the list
  • Give the location a name
  • Select the type of location (residential/commercial)
  • Optionally add a photo and enter the floor area

If the Navigator is already fully installed, it can be connected to the location right away. If not, this can always be done later.


🧭 Connecting the Navigator

To connect a Navigator to a location, follow these steps:

On the Navigator

On the Navigator's screen, go to LocationsConnect location. A 6-digit code will appear on the screen.

In the Currentt App

If you chose to connect a Navigator immediately after creating a location, you are already on the right screen.

If you want to connect a Navigator to an existing location:

  • Select the desired location
  • Go to InstallationsNavigators
  • Click Connect Navigator under Navigators

Next steps:

  • Enter the 6-digit code from the Navigator's screen
  • Optionally give the Navigator a name
  • Add photos of the meter cupboard and the installed Navigator. Make sure the connections are clearly visible in the photos, so they can be checked remotely later. Also add any notes about the installation.
  • Click Connect Navigator

The Navigator is now connected to this location.
