PIN code

You can optionally set a PIN code on the Navigator itself. This makes sure you have to enter the PIN code on the Navigator screen before you can do anything on the screen.

Warning

Make sure you do not forget the PIN code! A forgotten PIN code means you will no longer have access to the Navigator. This cannot be recovered and will require replacing the Navigator. This risk and the associated costs are for the account of whoever set the PIN code.

🔐 Setting a PIN code​

You set the PIN code on the Navigator via the Settings menu. Use the buttons on the Navigator to navigate through the menus.

  • Go to the Settings menu.
  • Choose the option to set a PIN code.
  • Select the desired digit for each position and confirm it. The PIN code consists of four digits.

Once the PIN code has been set, it must be entered on the Navigator screen before you can use the screen.

You can change and remove the PIN code on the Navigator via the Settings › PIN code menu.
