Set password

Before you can use the local web app, you set a password that secures the configuration of the installation.

📋 Overview​

The local web app at currentt.local is protected with a password, so that not just anyone can reach the configuration. As long as no password has been set, the Navigator asks for one first when you open the web app.

🔐 Creating the password​

If you open the local web app while no password has been set yet, the Navigator asks you to set one. We strongly recommend doing that right away and using a strong password.

  • In your browser, go to currentt.local.
  • Enter the password you want to use.
  • Read the 6-digit verification code from the Navigator's screen and enter it as well. This proves that you are physically at the device.
  • Confirm to save the password.

After that it is taken care of and you can simply keep using the local web app as you are used to.

Staying logged in​

Do you want to avoid logging in again every time on a particular device, such as your laptop? Then turn on Remember password and Automatic login.

🗝️ Resetting your password​

Have you forgotten your password? You can set a new one by going to the Settings › Password menu on your Navigator. Press and hold the button there for five seconds to reset the password.

Then open the local web app again to set a new password.
