Interval task
An interval task executes an action repeatedly at an interval of your choosing.
📋 Overview
With an interval task you schedule an action that is executed on a fixed repeating interval. You choose how often and when the task is repeated and define what action is performed.
🎛️ Possibilities
Type
You set what type of task you are adding. In this case Interval.
Condition
You set how often the task is repeated. Choose an interval and configure the corresponding fields:
- Every minute: Set the second at which the task is executed every minute.
- Every hour: Set the minute at which the task is executed every hour.
- Daily: Set the time at which the task is executed every day.
- Weekly: Set the day of the week and the time at which the task is executed every week.
- Monthly: Set the day of the month and the time at which the task is executed every month.
- Yearly: Set the day of the year (day number and month) and the time at which the task is executed every year.
Action
You choose an actuator or automation on which the task performs an action. The available actions depend on the actuators and automations available in the installation.
Tariff switcher:
- Tariff: Set the tariff to Low/Off-peak or High/Peak.
Switches:
- State: Select the desired state. Depending on the type of switch, different states are possible, e.g. Off, On, Normal, High, Max.
- Keep in this state for a minimum duration: Enable this to keep the device in the selected state for at least a set duration. Other tasks cannot change the state during this lock period. Set the Minimum duration (in minutes).
Power curtailment:
- State: Select the desired state for power curtailment (Off, On).
- Power: When enabled, set the desired power using the slider (0–100%).
Charge/discharge control:
- State: Select the desired state for the battery (Off, Discharge, Charge).
- Power: When discharging or charging, set the desired power using the slider (depending on the battery capacity).
Automations:
- State: Select whether the automation becomes Active or Paused.
📝 Managing tasks
Adding an interval task
- Go to Tasks within your installation.
- Click
+ Addto add a new task. - Select Interval as the type and click
Next. - Set the desired interval and the corresponding fields. Click
Next. - Select the desired actuator or automation.
- Configure the desired action based on the selected actuator or automation.
- Click
+ Createto save the task.
Editing a task
Select the relevant task and click Edit. Adjust the desired settings. Click Save to save your changes.
