Neovolt battery
📋 Overview
The Neovolt is an all-in-one battery system with a built-in hybrid inverter, based on the Bytewatt platform. The system is available as a single-phase (5 kW) and three-phase (10 kW) variant and is modularly expandable. The battery is connected to the Currentt Navigator via Modbus RTU (RS-485) or Modbus TCP (Ethernet).
The Neovolt has a built-in hybrid inverter. No separate inverter is required and therefore no separate inverter is created in the Currentt Navigator configuration.
⚙️ How does it work?
The Neovolt communicates via Modbus RTU (RS-485) or Modbus TCP (Ethernet) with the Currentt Navigator. The Navigator reads the battery data (such as state of charge, power, and temperature) and controls the charging and discharging behaviour. Because the inverter is built in, the entire system is managed through a single Modbus connection.

Connect the Neovolt to the Currentt Navigator via one of the methods below.
Option 1: Modbus RTU (RS-485)
A wired connection via the RS-485 port (RJ45) on the Neovolt inverter to the Currentt Navigator. This is a direct physical connection and does not require network infrastructure.

The Neovolt is modularly expandable. For single-phase systems, multiple BW-BAT-10.1P modules can be stacked (up to 6 modules / 60.6 kWh). For three-phase systems, multiple BW-BAT-4.8S modules can be combined (up to 6 modules / 28.8 kWh).
