SAJ HS3 battery
📋 Overview
The SAJ HS3 is an all-in-one energy storage system with a built-in hybrid inverter and battery, available as a single-phase (3 – 6 kW) and three-phase (3 – 12 kW) variant. The system is connected to the Currentt Navigator via Modbus RTU (RS-485) or Modbus TCP (Ethernet).
The SAJ HS3 has a built-in hybrid inverter. No separate inverter is required and therefore no separate inverter is created in the Currentt Navigator configuration.
⚙️ How does it work?
The Currentt Navigator communicates with the SAJ HS3 via Modbus RTU (RS-485) or Modbus TCP (Ethernet). The Navigator reads the battery data (such as state of charge, power, and temperature) and controls the charging and discharging behaviour. Because the inverter is built in, the entire system is managed through a single Modbus connection.

Connect the SAJ HS3 to the Currentt Navigator via one of the methods below.
Option 1: Modbus RTU (RS-485)
A wired connection via an RS-485 cable between the HS3 and the Currentt Navigator.

All SAJ BU3 batteries use LFP (LiFePO4) cells. The BU3 modules are stackable (up to 8 modules / 40 kWh) and connect to the HS3 via quick connectors.
