Solis inverter
The Solis inverter is connected to the Currentt Navigator to read production data and control the system. On hybrid inverters (S6-EH series), the battery is automatically included as well.

⚙️ How it works
The Currentt Navigator communicates with the Solis inverter via Modbus. The Navigator reads production data, power values and status information, and can control the power output of the inverter. On a hybrid inverter with a connected battery, the battery data is read via the same connection.
On a hybrid inverter with a connected battery, all battery data (state of charge, charge and discharge power, status) is automatically read via the same connection. See also the Solis battery guide.
On Solis, controlling the inverter power only curtails PV production once the battery is fully charged (100%). Below 100%, the excess is absorbed by the battery instead of being limited.
🔌 Connection options
Connect the inverter to the Currentt Navigator using one of the methods below.
Option 1: Modbus RTU (RS-485)
A wired connection via an RS-485 cable between the COM port of the inverter and the RS-485 Modbus connection on the Currentt Navigator. This is a direct physical connection and does not require network infrastructure.

Option 2: Modbus TCP (local network)
A connection via the local network using the Solis DataLogger S2-WL-ST. The data logger and the Currentt Navigator must both be connected to the same network.

When you enable Modbus TCP on the DataLogger S2-WL-ST, the data logger loses its connection to SolisCloud. You therefore have to choose between local Modbus TCP communication and monitoring via SolisCloud. Do you want to keep both? Then use Modbus RTU.

This integration has been validated against a Solis hybrid inverter paired with a battery:
- Hybrid inverter: Solis S6-EH3P10K (three-phase)
- Battery: high-voltage pack reporting through the inverter's BMS
Other Solis hybrid models and battery brands may work but are not yet verified. If your installation differs or you run into issues, please contact customer support.
